Our Services

Our Services
Peniel Oasis Homes offers mid- to long-term, planned residential placements for up to two children or young people, of either gender, aged 8 to 17 years on admission (up to 18 years on discharge).
We specialise in supporting children and young people who present with a range of emotional, behavioural, and psychological needs, often arising from complex backgrounds or early life trauma.

We offer care to children and young people who may be:
-
Victims of trauma, abuse (physical, emotional, sexual), or domestic violence
-
Experiencing low self-esteem or a lack of self-confidence
-
Displaying emotional and/or behavioural difficulties
-
Considered "hard to place" in traditional care settings
-
Part of sibling groups requiring placement together
-
Living with mental health challenges, including autism or neurodivergence
-
Transitioning from inpatient mental health settings
-
Subject to restrictions under legal frameworks (e.g., electronic tags, DOLS orders)
We understand that many of the children and young people placed with us may have experienced disruption, instability, or a breakdown in previous care arrangements. Our approach is tailored, consistent, and focused on long-term emotional recovery and personal development.

At Peniel Oasis Homes, we recognise that challenging behaviour is often the visible outcome of underlying trauma, unmet emotional needs, or disrupted attachments. While children and young people are encouraged to take responsibility for their actions, our focus is not only on managing behaviour but also on understanding its root causes.

We believe that healing and change happen through strong, nurturing relationships and safe, stable environments. Our staff team is trained in trauma-informed practice and attachment-aware approaches, helping children feel secure, valued, and empowered.
